Laurie Rikansrud

Hello, I'm Laurie ! I began my own personal practice about 20 years ago practicing here and there. When my children got older, I had more time for myself, I began to take my practice more seriously, and decided to become a teacher in fall of 2020 and have been teaching yoga ever since then. I decided I wanted to become a yoga teacher while practicing kundalini yoga one day. In meditation while practicing trying to find the right passion to move forward with in my life and yoga was the right fit for me. My favorite class to teach is yin, I usually play my crystal bowls, the most common comment I get is that while practicing , they lost track of time or fell asleep. My experience at Sol Health has been amazing being surrounded by a supportive , nurturing community. I don't know if this would be considered a special skill or talent, in my practice and in my teachings I usually try to pay attention to the seasons & planets. I believe these things have the greatest impact on our inner ocean. These shifts along with diet can impact our state of being. through slight adjustments in a posture to maybe find a backbend during the full moon to open the heart, aiding the energetic field to release while energetic field is in a state of naturally wanting to release.
