I first practiced yoga as a teen and loved the experience of being in the moment with my body, this introduced me into the practice of mindfulness. I decided to become a teacher because yoga is for every body. I want to share this practice to bring that experience of love and acceptance of self to people who may not otherwise think that yoga is accessible for them.

My teacher training was through Global Soul Yoga in 2022 and led me down a new path of understanding the mind, body, spirit connection. My training allowed me to reconnect with the flexibility aspect of my body/mind that had become constricted by illness and injury. The hot room in particular appeals to me because through the experience of additional stress from the heat, I can make a conscious choice to just slow down, breathe and relax into the edge of asanas. The heat helps me to relax, increases flexibility, flushes any toxins and allows me to be fully present with my practice. My takeaway from this training was Yoga is a way of life.  A new way of being, of loving, of understanding and of living that not only changes you, but touches the people around you in a profound and positive way!

I have studied various energy arts for many years as well as practicing Tai Chi and Qigong since 2014. In 2019 I became a Qigong teacher and this understanding of various forms of energy combined with breathwork and meditation made Yogic philosophy and practice a valuable addition to my energetic toolbox. My specialties are Yin yoga, restorative yoga, meditation, qigong and sound healing.

I hope to inspire a  love for body, mind and spirit and a complete knowing that every moment that leads us to the present moment are all a part of this journey. It is an honor to guide others to find their own inner peace and stillness wherever they are on their own path.
