Jim Muscatell
Jim first encountered yoga in 2003 during a month-long military leadership program. While life pulled him in many directions after that initial introduction, he eventually returned to the practice and made it a consistent part of his life. What started as a personal commitment deepened in 2015 when he began teacher training with Yoga Fit, later restarting and completing his certification with YogaFaith in 2017. Though his original intention was simply to strengthen his own practice, after teaching his very first class, Jim discovered how fulfilling it was to share yoga with others.
Since then, Jim has continued to expand his training, earning certifications as a Yin and Restorative trainer, as well as in Chair Yoga, Myofascial Release, and PIYO. He specializes in Gentle Yoga, Chair Yoga, and beginner-friendly workshops, offering students a safe and supportive environment where they can explore the practice no matter their background or experience. His approach emphasizes self-care and making time to nourish body, mind, and spirit.
In Jim’s classes, students can expect a welcoming space rooted in accessibility and balance. Whether guiding a beginner through their first postures or supporting students in a gentle practice, he encourages each person to listen to their body, breathe deeply, and embrace yoga as a tool for relaxation and self-discovery—both on and off the mat.
