Shelly Scott
Shelly first stepped onto the mat in 2009 for a hot yoga class, an experience that felt both intimidating and challenging—but also deeply rewarding. Over time, she discovered yoga as not only a way to move her body but also as a practice that cultivates stability, mobility, and balance—qualities she believes are essential at every age. Inspired by the idea that movement, no matter how small, can support long-term health and vitality, Shelly pursued her RYT200 at Sol Health Yoga graduating in March 2025, followed by the 100-hour Mentorship Program to further develop her voice as a teacher.
Today, Shelly specializes in Chair Yoga, creating fun, welcoming classes designed to be accessible for every BODY. Her teaching style emphasizes variety, playfulness, and community, offering a no-judgment space where students are encouraged to challenge themselves while honoring their own unique needs. With warmth and enthusiasm, she inspires her students to remember that they are strong, worthy, and capable of longevity and wellness at any stage of life.
In Shelly’s classes, students can expect to laugh, move, and grow together, whether through gentle postures, resistance bands, or new creative ways of building strength. Off the mat, she lives by the practice of pausing, breathing deeply, and embracing self-acceptance—reminders she hopes to pass along to others on their own yoga journeys. For Shelly, yoga is not about a final destination, but about learning to love who and where you are, right here and right now.
