Mignon Sutherland

My name is Mignon Sutherland-Sauve, 200hr RYT. I started my journey into the practice of yoga in 2015 with Jana Schilling, she is such an inspiration. I was looking for a good workout, I wanted to change things about my body, little did I know what a gift yoga would be for my mind. After a month or so of practice I noticed the shift in my internal dialogue, I found myself falling in love with who I was becoming. Not only was I physically stronger, I was mentally stronger, frustration and irritation became something of the past and I felt at ease with who I am. I had confidence and self control. I finally had the strength to put alcohol down and use yoga as my escape. 
 In 2020, when covid hit, my place of employment was forced to close and I found myself with a little free time that I hadn’t had for years. I knew it was time for me to learn how to share the gift of yoga. I enrolled in the only “in-person” yoga teacher training at the time, studying under Emily Henderson at Hot26. I specialize in the practices of hatha, vinyasa, moving meditation, and yin with specialty training in sculpt, Pilates core, inferno bar, “feet up” and more. I would love the opportunity to share what I have learned with you, building a community of love and respect.
